These terms govern your use of DeductMate. By using the site or buying a plan, you agree to them. DeductMate is operated by an independent developer, not a company.

The service
DeductMate helps self-employed people track deductible expenses and estimate federal taxes. Calculations are estimates based on published IRS rules for tax year 2026 and are provided for information only — they are not tax, legal, or accounting advice. Confirm your position with a qualified tax professional before filing or paying.
Your account
Some features require an account. You are responsible for what you enter and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans are sold and processed by Creem, acting as merchant of record. Creem is the legal seller for your purchase and handles payment processing, applicable taxes, and invoicing. Prices, billing cycles, and any trial terms are shown on the checkout page before you pay, and charges are in USD. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel or change your plan at any time from the customer portal, and cancellation stops future renewals.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Creem under their refund policy — including how to request one and how it is processed. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact Creem support with your order or invoice ID.
Acceptable use
Don't use DeductMate to break the law, to submit false information, to interfere with the service, or to resell or scrape it. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
Availability & liability
We work to keep DeductMate available and accurate, but the service is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for tax penalties, missed deductions, filing outcomes, or other losses arising from your use of the service or reliance on its estimates. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes are reflected in the date above, and continuing to use DeductMate after a change means you accept the updated terms.
